Doing my first full day of telework. Thank god for headphones -- our street is noisy enough to be really distracting, and it's too hot to keep the windows closed. But slap some This Will Destroy You on the phones and I'm golden :). It's pretty miraculous to me that I can connect from here and be controlling the computer in the federal building in Asheville. It shouldn't be, really -- I did it once a week from home -- but somehow it feels way more amazing when I'm 5000 miles away.
Actually, I just checked: 5099.192 miles away as the crow flies.
